जमवाय माता मंदिर
यूं तो अब राजस्थान में अब जमवाय माता के कई छोटे और बड़े मंदिर हैं, लेकिन सबसे प्रचीन और पहला मंदिर जमवा रामगढ़ का मंदिर ही है जो रामगढ़ बांध से कुछ ही दूरी पर बना है. कछवाहा राजवंश की कुलदेवी जमवाय माता का मंदिर जयपुर से लगभग 35 किलोमीटर दूर पूर्व में जमवा रामगढ़ की पहाड़ियों की घाटी में स्थित है. जामवा रामगढ़, जयपुर जिला का एक कस्बा है. हरियाली की गोद में पहाड़ियों के बीच जमवाय माता का मंदिर है. इनका पौराणिक नाम जामवन्ति है. इस मंदिर की स्थापना कछवाहा वंश के राजा दूलहराय ने की थी. इस मंदिर के अंदर तीन मूर्तियॉ विराजमान है , पहली मूर्ति गाय के बछडे के रूप में विराजमान है, दूसरी मूर्ति श्री जमवाय माता जी की है और तीसरी मूर्ति बुडवाय माता जी की है.

कहा जाता है पहले इस इलाके का नाम मांच था और चौकीदार मीणों का यहां शासन था. एक बार दूलहराय से उनका युद्ध हुआ जिसमें दूलहराय को पराजय का सामना करना पड़ा और वह बेहोश हो गए. बेहोश अवस्था में उन्हें जमवाय माता ने दर्शन दिए और कहा कि मीणा शासक उनके मंदिर में तामसी भोग अर्पित करते हैं. यदि वो उसे रोककर मीठे का भोग लगवाना शुरू करेंगे और मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार करवाएंगे, तो वह मीणों से युद्ध जीत जीएंगे. साथ ही उन्हें जीवनदान भी मिलेगा
और हुआ भी यही. राजा दूलहराय युद्ध जीत गए औरमंदिर में तामसी भोग बन्द हुआ. उन्हें मीठी लापसी (मीठे दलिया ) का भोग अर्पित किया जाने लगा. मांच का नाम बदलकर अब इसका नाम जमवा रामगढ़ रख दिया गया. राजा जहां बेहोश हुए थे और माता ने दर्शन दिया था, वहीँ दुलहराय ने मंदिर का निर्माण किया.
ये वही मंदिर है जिसे अपनी कुलदेवी मानकर कछवाहा वंश ने सैंकड़ों साल तक आमेर पर शासन किया और जयपुर बसाया. मंदिर में नारियल की भेट चढ़ाना शुभ माना जाता है और आज भी कछवाहा वंश के लोग यहां बच्चों का मुण्डन और विवाह के बाद जोड़े की ढोक लगाने आते हैं. भले ही जमवाय माता कछवाहा वंश की कुल माता हैं, लेकिन अन्य वंश और जातियों के लोग भी माता के दरबार में मत्था टेकने आते हैं. जमवाय माता कुलदेवी होने से नवरात्र एवं अन्य अवसरों पर देशभर में बसे कछवाहां वंश के लोग यहां आते हैं और मां को प्रसाद, पोशाक और 16 शृंगार का सामान भेंट करते हैं.

JAMWAY MATA TEMPLE
Although now there are many small and big temples of Jamwai Mata in Rajasthan, but the most ancient and first temple is Jamwa Ramgarh’s temple which is built at some distance from Ramgarh Dam. The temple of Jamwai Mata, the Kuldevi of the Kachwaha dynasty, is situated in the valley of Jamwa Ramgarh hills, about 35 km east of Jaipur. Jamwa is a town in Ramgarh, Jaipur district. Amidst the hills in the lap of greenery, there is a temple of Jamwai Mata. Her mythological name is Jamvanti. This temple was established by King Dulharai of Kachwaha dynasty. There are three idols inside this temple, the first idol is in the form of a cow calf, the second idol is of Shri Jamvai Mata Ji and the third idol is of Budvai Mata Ji.
History of the establishment of the temple
It is said that earlier the name of this area was Manch and the watchman Meenas ruled here. Once he had a fight with Dulharay in which Dulharay had to face defeat and he fainted. In an unconscious state, Jamwai Mata appeared to him and said that the Meena rulers offer Tamsi Bhog in her temple. If they stop him and start offering sweets and get the temple renovated, then he will win the battle with the Meenas. Also they will get life
And exactly the same happened.King Dulhrai won the war and the vengeful indulgence in the temple stopped. They were offered the offering of Meethi Lapsi (sweet porridge). The name of the Manch was changed to Jamwa Ramgarh. Where the king had fainted and the mother had appeared, Dulharay built the temple.
This is the same temple which the Kachwaha dynasty ruled Amer for hundreds of years and established Jaipur as their Kuldevi. Offering coconut in the temple is considered auspicious and even today people of Kachwaha dynasty come here to shave the children and dhoka the couple after marriage. Even though Jamwai Mata is the total mother of Kachwaha dynasty, but people of other clans and castes also come to pay obeisance in the court of Mata. Due to being Jamwai Mata Kuldevi, people of Kachwahan dynasty settled all over the country come here on Navratri and other occasions and offer prasad, dress and 16 items of adornment to the mother.
